Your camping holidays in Gard

The Gard will reveal itself to you in a whole new way during your Yelloh! Village holidays! Come and visit - or revisit - the Camargue, land of traditions and of nature, with its white horses, black bulls, pink flamingos, manades, ferias and other types of arena events known as courses camarguaises. Amazing things, thrilling events and lots of excitement all on the menu!

And one thing you absolutely mustn't miss during your stay is the Pont du Gard. With centuries of Roman history, its height of 49 metres makes it the world's tallest aqueduct! With archaeological exhibitions, swimming in the river, outdoor hiking trails and plenty more, the whole family will just love it here. And for something nice and a bit different, a short distance from the campsite you can take your little entourage to see the exotic plants and amazing trees at the Anduze bamboo gardens.

Aigues-Mortes, La Grande Motte, Carnon and other places too! Your best ever holidays await you at the Petite Camargue

In Aigues-Mortes you'll be able to enjoy a truly colourful holiday in the South of France. This fortified town has existed in tune with the Camargue for centuries, in a setting which is both natural and wild. Come and see the town, which is steeped in history, go around its ramparts and take in the amazing views over the salt marshes of the Midi and its expanses of pink water stretching away into the distance.

And for sun-soaked strolls, head for Montpellier, known as the Surdouée (gifted). With the cathedral of Saint-Pierre, the  Place de la Comédie, its own Arc de Triomphe and more, this is a city with a plethora of amazing features. And for an even more delightful time, head to Nimes to see its Roman amphitheatre, the best-preserved  of its kind, the famous arena!

And from the campsite, you can get to some of the loveliest beaches of the Mediterranean in no time at all, including La Grande Motte, Carnon, Palavas and of course l’Espiguette and its 18km of white sand beach. With Yelloh! Village, your holidays will simply bear no comparison!
